Eight Years and Counting - Meet the Wildbuds Behind the Blooms

At Wildbud Floral Co., the flowers are what you see first—but behind every bouquet, installation, and workshop is a lot of heart, hustle, and history.

If you’ve been with us from the beginning, you might remember that Wildbud started not in a cute storefront, but in our living rooms—literally. Back then, it was Cheyenne and Lisa dreaming up floral designs at kitchen tables, crafting arrangements on the floor, and delivering blooms with babies in tow. What started as a creative outlet and a shared love for flowers quickly blossomed into so much more.

We opened our 1st brick-and-mortar shop in downtown Sonora with the dream of building a space where people could feel inspired, welcomed, and connected through flowers, plants, and community. Since then, we’ve grown, evolved, moved to a larger store front and filled our space with local blooms, handmade goods, workshops, and beautiful moments.

Lisa has since moved on to new adventures with her amazing family, but her spirit and creativity are still woven into the Wildbud story. These days, it’s Cheyenne and Ashley holding it down—both in the shop and behind the scenes.

Meet Cheyenne

Cheyenne is the creative backbone of Wildbud. From the beginning, she’s been the driving force behind our bold floral style and wildly original installations. She has an eye for color, a deep love for nature, and the ability to take any space and make it bloom. She’s also the one most likely to be on a ladder, making flower magic overhead, or knee-deep in stems prepping for an event with music blasting in the background.

Meet Ashley

Ashley keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes. She’s the one handling the business operations, shop logistics, schedules, and spreadsheets—making sure everything runs smoothly so the creativity can flourish. She bridges the gap between beauty and business, and brings a calm, thoughtful energy to the Wildbud team.

Together, we balance each other out—Chey the fearless artist, Ash the steady strategist—and that’s what makes Wildbud what it is.
