Blooming Local: How Wildbud Floral Co Grows with Our Farmers
At Wildbud Floral Co, flowers are more than just beautiful stems — they’re living stories, rooted in relationships. We don’t just “buy local” because it’s trendy. We partner with local farmers because we know them, walk their rows, and share in the rhythms of their seasons.
One of our closest partners is HomeSown Flowers, right here in our community. Over the years, we’ve spent countless hours touring their field, learning about the varieties they grow, and hearing why they choose certain blooms over others. They’ve taught us how different weather patterns can change a flower’s size, color, or vase life — knowledge we bring back to our customers so they can understand the unique beauty in every stem.
We also work with Sweetest Stem, Angie with Olive and Rose, Jennifer with An Occasion, Jaclyn with The Flora Club, Blumen Flower Farm, and our very own Lisa with Homestake Seeds and shop, each with their own signature style and approach. From vibrant summer zinnias to soft spring ranunculus, they invite us into their world — sharing tips on how they coax the most from each plant and explaining the care that goes into every bloom. Those farm visits are more than business; they’re education, inspiration, and connection all rolled into one.
And then there are the local home growers — the kind-hearted neighbors who drop off buckets of freshly cut flowers from their gardens. Their passion is contagious, and their blooms carry a certain wild charm you can’t find anywhere else.
Over time, these farmers have become more than suppliers — they’ve become part of our Wildbud family. We celebrate their successes, cheer them on during challenging seasons, and work together to bring the freshest, most meaningful flowers into your hands.
When you buy flowers from Wildbud, you’re not just getting something pretty for your table. You’re taking home a piece of a local field, a season’s worth of hard work, and the story of people who pour their hearts into growing beauty for all of us to enjoy.
Come visit us, and we’ll tell you the story behind your bouquet — straight from the farm to your vase.
